Aspen Fashion Week announced for March 1-5, 2009. Celebrating the “mountain lifestyle,” the five-day event will showcase the winter resort and ski wear markets with nightly fashion events, in-store presentations, and après-ski soirees. An estimated 15 designers will present their winter 2009/2010 collection to fashion buyers and press, and organizers expect that in 2010, the event will expand to include full-scale runway presentations.
