Spring is here and the color everyone is talking about is tangerine.  Move over Honeysuckle (2011’s hot color per Pantone).  The color authority has named Tangerine Tango one of the hottest colors for Spring 2012.

We take the tangerine color and look for many comparable trendy shades from light to dark so that you can match your skin tone and look “IN”.

I noticed this adorable scalloped edge top on my last visit to Gennaio Boutique in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  It’s flowy and forgiving, and at just $42 it will be snatched up quickly.  Looks a bit more pinkish in this photo, but it’s toward the coral family.

Pair with a straight skirt or go casual with denim.  I just love those sleeves!

I’ve spied many of the hot spring colors at this hidden gem of a store!  Cabaret Pink is one little color punch I adore!

If you find the Tangerine family of colors a bit much, try baby steps.  A shoe or handbag in the trendy color can pair well with an unexpected color like green or blue.  This Tracy Reese outfit  (Tracy Reese Plenty, neon coral skirt $188) gives great inspiration.
