Chip on my shoulder?

I am very, totally, extrememly frustrated.  My uber chic friend in the big apple says NO FAKE NAILS so I’ve got no fakes and have my nails trimmed down and painted a yummy deep purple.  I cannot keep them from chipping!

My nail painting process included 2 coats of everything!  Two base coats, two color coats, two top coats PLUS some fast-dry hardening drops.

Chip.

chip chip chip.

ACK!

I want to know which product out there is the best for reducing chipping.  This 7 step crap is a complete waste of time if the nails chip in a day.  Help me out girls.  Post your tried-and-true faves here asap!

Please give us an update, I have wanted to take the plunge for so long, but find it more time/cost effective to have the nails on, I have very weak nails and dont have time to touch up! How is it going for you??

Try Mega Shine by Sally Hansen. It is a top coat that gives your nails a mirror shine, dries in seconds and most importantly makes your polished nails last for at least 10 days. NO CHIPPING! Good Luck! Try it….you’ll like it!

Gelatin, good ol’ fashion jello, is great for increasing hair and nail strength. There are pills. Of course there are pills… there is a pill for just about everything except stupidity. Or just get your gelitan through J-E-L-L-O. Adverstisements soooo works on me! All this cold weather is reaking havoc on your poor hands! (Mine too!) Try to spend 1 minute before bed rubbing in some cuticle oil. No need to go all fancy or expensive, oil is oil.
